Individual tickets are $5 and may be purchased at the Springdale Chamber (202 W Emma Ave, Springdale AR), the Jones Center for Families (922 E Emma Ave, Springdale AR) or from participating Springdale churches. To accommodate as many attendees as possible, the event is being moved to Cross Church Springdale. The prayer service will be held in the church sanctuary following a continental breakfast in the church foyer areas. All proceeds from the 2017 breakfast will donated to the Arkansas Children?s Northwest Hospital, which is under construction in Springdale. Each year, the Mayor?s Prayer Breakfast organizing committee selects a recipient to receive a donation from event profits. Event organizers welcome inquiries by Springdale churches and residents interested in volunteering. Sponsorships are available for $500 and include 10 tickets to the event. The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, which is May 4th 2017, inviting people of all faiths to pray for our nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman. Since its inception, this day has continually united Americans from all socio-economic, political, and ethnic backgrounds in prayer while also encouraging personal repentance and righteousness in the culture. The National Day of Prayer belongs to all Americans and is a day that transcends differences, bringing together citizens to celebrate our most beloved freedom; the freedom to humbly come before God and seek His guidance in prayer. https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/1665115730451772\/\tROOFTOP\t35.342832\t-89.896002\nNational Day of Prayer\tMighty Fortress Church\t238 Burley Shouns Lane\tMountain City\tTN\t37683\tAnita Smith\t423-727-7676\tanita77@centurylink.net\tWww.mightyfortresschurch.org\t\tAn hour of prayer.\tROOFTOP\t36.458896\t-81.870224\nNational Day of Prayer Johnson County\tJohnson County Courthouse\t222 W Main Street\tMountain City\tTN\t37683\tAshley Worlock\t9103094686\tRWJCTennessee@gmail.com\t \t\tThe Republican Women of Johnson County would like to invite everyone to join us for the National Day of Prayer.
